Large, rugged and solid, the Aidi harnesses extraordinary strength in a lean, agile and muscular body. Although the Aidi's chief function today in his homeland is guarding flocks and belongings of the nomadic tribes of the desert, he is becoming popular as pet, mostly in country homes.
