Bearded Collie Breeders

The Bearded Collie is one of the oldest herding dog breeds. Because of his "shaggy-dog" appearance, the Bearded Collie breed is often confused with the Old English sheepdog. This is a high-maintenance breed since the coat easily collects mud and becomes tangled. Bearded Collie puppies are born black and then change color to black, brown, fawn or blue with white markings. The Bearded Collie is a healthy breed. Cataracts and hip dysplasia are most common hereditary health issues and responsible breeders will only breed dogs which are free from these or any other hereditary diseases.
