Border Collie Breeders
The Border Collie is a very intelligent dog with a superior herding instinct and train ability. Border Collies need jobs in their lives, otherwise they develop behavioral problems. These dogs are very outgoing and friendly with everybody.
Border Collies have developed the reputation of being disease-free. They are hardy by nature and tend to recover more rapidly than most dogs from cuts, breaks and other trauma, but they have medical problems just any other dog breeds. The most common health problems in the Border Collie breed are hip dysplasia, progressive retinal atrophy (PRA), collie eye anomaly, and osteochondritis dessicans. All of these health problems are thought to be genetic. If you consider buying a Border Collie puppy, make sure his parents have health clearances for these health disorders.
