The Akbash Dog is a sweet-tempered, loving, playful, gentle and calm working breed. He gets along well with children and other household pets. He makes a good watchdog, but is too good-natured to be a really good guard dog. Akbash puppies are absolutely irresistible, but without discipline they can soon become unruly.
