Cuprimyxin

Cuprimyxin is a veterinary topical broad spectrum antibiotic and antifungal drug; a complex of copper (II) and myxin. It is chemically related to phenazines.

In dogs, cats, and horses cuprimyxin cream is for the topical treatment of superficial infections caused by bacteria, dermatophytes (Trichophyton species, Microsporum species) and yeast (Candida albicans) affecting skin, hair, and external mucosae. The cream is applied to affected areas by rubbing into lesions.
