Glen of Imaal Terrier Breeders
Glens have preserved very strong hunting instincts and will chase and can kill many moving things, including cats, other dogs and small animals. Early socialization of puppies is very important. They are usually very good with children, but may follow their instincts and consider a child as an object of chase. The Glen of Imaal Terrier needs a fenced yard and should never be allowed to run off-leash. Glens may be aggressive with unfamiliar dogs.
