Hepatozoonosis

Tick-borne, protozoal infection affecting both long and flat bones. Associated signs of illness include loss of appetite, fever, lethargy, weight loss, muscle pain, stiffness, ocular discharge. Treatment with non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drugs will relieve pain and fever in affected animals.
