It is very level-headed, strong-enough to play with kids, loves to ride in cars, and will set up a real commotion at any intrusion if encouraged to do so. A lovely medium-sized dog, the "mini", has fire and verve, is large enough for a man to enjoy yet not so big as to require extras of a big dog.
