Bengal Cat Breed

The Bengal can be very mischievous and boisterous. They are active cats always ready to play. They are also very vocal, intelligent, loving and people oriented cats. Bengal owners find that they are very "dog-like" in personality, following you from room to room and always greeting you with a loving welcome.

BengalBengal Cats were developed by breeding the Asian Leopard Cat with the Domestic Cat. The intention was to create a very unique, exotic looking breed that also was well tempered. Bengal cats are classified by their coat pattern. The most common pattern is the Spotted Leopard Bengal. The second most common pattern is the Marbled Bengal, with swirls and patches of color blended together in a pattern similar to a classic tabby. This breed is extremely playful and active. Unlike other breeds that mellow with age, Bengals have a life-long, high-energy level and need interactive toys and an owner who takes time to play with them every day. These cats require a great deal of attention and affection and can become a bit mischievous without it. But when given the necessary attention and love, Bengal cats can make a wonderful companion for most any type of household.

Comments

Bengals are not a breed associated with Feline Entropion

Bengals are not a breed associated with Feline Entropion. I run a Bengal Forum (www.BengalChatter.com), and live near/am friends with a Bengal breeder, and I have never once over many years encountered a Bengal with Entropion. That information needs an edit, because it is just not true.
