Rhodesian Ridgeback Puppies

This powerful and fearless big game hunter with a legendary reputation of a "Lion Dog" was bred in South Africa. The Ridgeback was also highly prized as a guard dog keeping out intruders from farms and plantations. His unique appearance is characterized by a ridge of hair growing on the back. Although sweet and affectionate with their family, the Ridgeback can present a training challenge for an inexperienced owner. These dogs need lots of daily exercise to burn their energy.
