Welsh Springer Spaniel Breeders

The Welsh Springer Spaniel originated in Wales over 400 years ago where he was used for flushing ("springing") and retrieving game birds. In Wales, the breed was known under the name of Starter. Today he is universally popular because of its endurance and ability to stand extremes of heat and cold. He has a red and white straight silky coat. The Welsh Springer Spaniel makes an excellent watchdog and family pet.
